Joshua Msechu

Joshua Msechu

CoFounder & CEO

Joshua Msechu, cofounder and CEO of SESA, has worked in renewable energy in East Africa since 2019. Since establishing the company in 2022, he has shaped its mission, secured investments, and implementing strategies to deliver energy solutions to underserved communities. With nearly a decade of experience in fields like renewable energy, international development, and corporate consulting, Joshua leverages his diverse skill set to address energy poverty through community centered innovation. Having earned a degree in Global Challenges from the African Leadership University, he brings a unique perspective on fast-tracking impactful energy solutions in Tanzania.

Eva Elisha

Eva Elisha

CoFounder, Finance and Administration

As a co-founder of SESA Energy, Eva Elisha is in charge of the administration and finance departments of the business. Having worked in banking and financial management for more than eight years, she is skilled at creating creative financing plans that give low-income families access to appliances and clean energy. Prior to joining SESA, Eva built her career in corporate finance and private banking with top financial institutions across Tanzania, where she excelled in client relations, investment advisory, and risk management.

Frackson Kayandabila
Technical Lead

With more than 20 years of expertise in electrical and solar engineering throughout Tanzania and East Africa, Frackson Kayandabila serves as SESA's Technical Lead. With an emphasis on solar system deployment, infrastructure development, and energy efficiency, he has planned and carried out a variety of renewable energy projects. He oversees technical operations at SESA, guaranteeing each project's reliability, quality, and safety. Frackson graduated from Mzumbe University with a degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

Sabrina Kinga
Operations & Marketing Manager

Sabrina is an operations and marketing manager with experience in managing supply chains, logistics, and customer service. With experience spanning M-Pesa and the tourism sector across Tanzania, Sabrina has demonstrated expertise in overseeing strategic operations, strengthening stakeholder relationships, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Known for her marketing acumen, she has successfully led campaigns that boosted customer engagement and increased brand visibility. Her background aligns well with SESA's mission to deliver impactful and sustainable energy solutions, bringing valuable insights into operations management and customer relations to support the company’s growth. She holds an Ordinary Diploma in Travel and Tourism from the National College of Tourism.

Lulu Aroan Nyabakari
Co-Installer and Technical Assistant

As a highly qualified and motivated Electrical and Solar Energy Technician, Lulu is essential to the planning, setting up, and maintaining of SESA's solar energy systems in both on- and off-grid settings. Lulu, who holds an Ordinary Diploma in Electrical and Solar Energy Engineering from Arusha Technical College, brings a variety of experience from her employment with TANESCO in Tanzania and as a solar technician in Kenya. She has extensive knowledge of energy systems design, troubleshooting, and field implementation in a variety of contexts, from urban infrastructure to rural villages, thanks to her exposure to the region.

Peter John Bulegea
Co-Installer and Technical Assistant

Peter is an accomplished Electrical and Solar Energy Technician with a strong track record in photovoltaic system design, installation, and maintenance. He holds an Ordinary Diploma in Electrical and Solar Energy Engineering from Arusha Technical College and brings hands-on experience from both national and international institutions. Through industrial training with TANESCO and advanced courses at Kenya Coast National Polytechnic and Remote Energy, Peter has developed deep technical expertise in solar PV systems, standalone DC configurations, solar water heating, and energy efficiency.

Joyce Hiza
Head of Distribution Longido

Joyce Vincent Hiza leads SESA’s distribution efforts in Longido District, overseeing a growing network of local distributors and franchise partners. As the Head of Distribution, she plays a pivotal role in expanding access to solar lamps and essential energy products in one of Tanzania’s most underserved regions.

Magreth Vincent
Head of Distribution Monduli

Magret Vincent leads SESA’s distribution operations in Monduli District, managing local agents and franchise partners to extend the reach of clean energy solutions. As Head of Distribution, she is instrumental in coordinating the delivery of solar lamps and other essential energy products to rural communities with limited or no access to electricity.

Mwajuma Nditi
Head of Distribution Karatu

Mwajuma Nditi oversees solar lamp distribution in Karatu District, leading a network of last-mile agents and franchise partners to deliver solar lamps and related energy solutions to off-grid communities.

Jalina Ally
Head of Distribution Mto Wa Mbu

Jalina leads SESA’s distribution operations in Mto wa Mbu, managing a network of sales agents and franchisees to deliver solar lamps and other clean energy solutions to off-grid and underserved households. With a deep connection to the local community, Jalina plays a pivotal role in helping families transition from unsafe lighting alternatives to reliable, sustainable energy products.
